• เทคโนโลยีเครื่องยนต์เผาไหม้ภายใน การวิเคราะห์สเปรย์และการเผาไหม้ในเครื่องยนต์เผาไหม้ภายใน การเผาไหม้ในเครื่องยนต์ขั้นสูง (LTC, HCCI, PCCI, GDI) การควบคุมการปลดปล่อยมลพิษจากเครื่องยนต์ การควบคุมอนุภาคฝุ่นจากเครื่องยนต์ดีเซล
• เชื้อเพลิงทางเลือกสำหรับยานยนต์ เช่น ไบโอดีเซล เอทานอล บิวทานอล และแก๊สธรรมชาติอัด เป็นต้น
• เทคนิคทางแสง ใช้เทคนิคทางแสงในการวิเคราะห์ตัวแปรต่างๆ ของสเปรย์และการเผาไหม้ในเครื่องยนต์เผาไหม้ภายใน เช่น Diffused-back illumination (DBI), Schlieren, Particle Image Velocity (PIV), และ OH* Chemiluminescence
• เทคโนโลยียานยนต์สมัยใหม่ เช่น ยานยนต์ไฟฟ้า ยานยนต์ไฮบริด และยานยนต์เซลเชื้อเพลิง เป็นต้น
