RESEARCH UNITS AND GROUPS
Applied Mechanics and Product Design, AMPD Head of research group, Asst.Prof.Dr.Boonthum Wongchai The research group of Applied Mechanics and Product Design focuses on identification of material behavior and product design. The computational simulation and the experimental validation are used on our studies. For the computational simulation, the products are modeled and analyzed by using the CAD software, finite element method (FEM) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD). The results of computational simulation are compared with the experimental. Objective To design and develop the industrial productsTo on identification of material behavior Current research topic Air cooling tower fan blade design for
Energy Systems Research Group, EnSys Head of research group Asst.Prof.Dr.Sompol Skullong Conventional sources of energy have been depleting at an alarming rate, which makes future sustainable development of energy use very difficult. In addition, global warming or climate change caused by human activities and conventional energy system technologies has shown dramatic impact on all lives on the earth. Thus, the main aims of the Energy Systems Research Group are to improve the energy performance of existing systems in order to save the energy and reduce the size and cost of the systems and to develop new systems with less global
