The Faculty of Engineering at Siracha, took international students on a visit to PTTLNG to learn about Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) energy.
On March 27, 2025, The Faculty of Engineering at Siracha, led by Dr. Karan Sengpanich, a lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, guided over 28 international students to study LNG at PTT LNG Co., Ltd. at the Lert Phatthana Phuksa Center in Rayong Province. The visit aimed to help students understand the process of clean energy for sustainability, a crucial energy source for the future, which transforms into cooling energy.
Additionally, the students gained hands-on experience by visiting a section dedicated to educating about natural gas and a display area showcasing a cold-weather flower garden. This garden utilizes leftover cooling energy from the transformation process to grow tulips, offering an engaging learning experience that enhanced their understanding in a fun and deeper way.
